He is the legal representative of the University. He heads the Academic Senate and the Board of Directors. He monitors the operation and efficiency of University facilities and services. He ensures the teaching and research independence of the teaching staff and exercises disciplinary authority over the staff and students.
Academic senate
Board consisting of the Rector, the Heads of Faculties and the representatives of each of the scientific-disciplinary aggregations, 3 heads of Department and 3 student representatives. It is responsible for planning teaching and research activities and indicates the lines of development of the University.
Board of Directors
Board consisting of the Rector, the representatives of the teachers and students and representatives of the economic and productive forces of the local Authorities.
Responsible for finances-administration.

1. Contents of the online offer
The operators of the Website assume no responsibility for the always updated version, correctness, completeness and quality of the information provided.
Any claims for responsibility made against the operators of the Website which are related to damages of a material or spiritual nature which have been originated by the use or non-use of the information provided or which have been caused by the use of faulty or incomplete information shall be excluded basically, unless it can be proven that the damage is due to the operator’s intentional or grossly negligent fault. All offers shall be subject to change without notice and shall be unbinding. The operators reserve explicitly the right to modify, complete or delete the entire offer without any special prior announcement or to suspend the publication either temporarily or definitely.

In direct or indirect references to foreign Internet pages („links“) which are beyond the sphere of responsibility of the operators of the Website, an obligation to take responsibility would take effect in the exclusive case only that the operators were aware of the contents and had the technical possibilities to reasonably prevent the use if any illegal contents were contained. Therefore, they herewith declare expressly to distance themselves from any contents of all pages linked or connected which have been changed after setting of the link.
