Mediacontech
The project partner Euphon has changed his name to Mediacontech. As time went by, Euphon (now Mediacontech) set up a process to diversify its activities. In the 50’s and 60’s, the area of operation expanded, with the creation of a sound recording laboratory and, later, a film studio which was destined to evolve with the expansion of television.
At the beginning of the 80’s, the area of expertise expanded to the video sector. In 1989, the company began using giant screens and high definition TV technologies. In 1993, it set up the first digital satellite network in Europe for Business Television. Between 1997 and 2000, the company expanded with the acquisition of important companies operating in the media and communication sectors.
In 2000, a significant step forward was taken with the listing on the Milan Stock Exchange.
