Fundación General de la Universidad de Salamanca
Fundación General de la Universidad de Salamanca is a non profit organisation founded in 1998. It contributes to the mutual dialogue and knowledge between University of Salamanca and local, national or international companies, promote the signing up of research contracts between the University and companies, support small and medium companies in the setting-up of networks, search for national and European partners, economic management, technical follow-up, get economic resources for the development of joint projects of continuous training and research, promote and develop of training activities.
University-Enterprise Department, within FGUSAL, has a long experience (since 1988 until 2000 called AUESA) with two main lines of action: training and employment unit and innovation and technology transfer unit. The activities of the first one are mainly: participation in international programmes, professional training periods, entrepreneurs Programme of University of Salamanca, occupation training courses for unemployed new graduates, training programmes requested by companies, 100 industries in University of Salamanca Programme, co-operative partner of the regional employment service of Junta de Castilla y Léon, etc.
